What: The 2012 Greater Greensboro Crop Walk

When: Sunday, October 14, 2012; 2:00pm

Where: New Bridge Bank Ballpark, Downtown

Why: To help raise awareness and funds for the hungry, locally and globally

How: Become a walker and raise money or sponsor a walker

Our Lady of Grace walkers will meet in the Carolina Bank parking lot at the corner of West Market St. and Spring St. beginning at 1:00pm.  Water and snacks will be available here at the parking lot.  Be sure to wear your OLG school spirit wear or OLG blue to show your OLG pride!  We will walk together down to the CROP walk event at 2:00pm.

The walk is 5k (3.1 miles) and should last 1-1.5 hours.  We will walk together and will have a banner or sign to indicate where we are at all times.

There will be water and snacks available before and during the walk at the CROP Walk site.

Each walker will either have a packet or create a walker website to keep track of their personal donations.  Please turn in any packets or donations to Amy Matthews or Karen Hornfeck before, on or shortly after the day of the CROP Walk.  These can be dropped off at the OLG school office or OLG church office. Last day to turn donations in will be November 7, 2012.
