Why I'm Walking

I am excited to be participating in the CROP Hunger Walk in our local community.  The funds that we raise will assist people right here at home as well as around the world.

Last January I joined the board of Food for Lane County.  Since that time, I have learned that hunger is an issue that affects all ages, races, and backgounds.  With unemployment stubbornly  high, more and more people are accessing emergency food pantries to help feed their families.

By joinging with me and others, your can help get food to those who need it most.
