CROP Hunger Walks help children and families worldwide -- and right here in the U.S. -- to have food for today, while building for a better tomorrow. Each year some two million CROP Walkers, volunteers, and sponsors put their hearts and soles in motion, raising over $16 million per year to help end hunger and poverty around the world -- and in their own communities. And you are part of it!
Help us Walk!
Dear Friends and Family,
This year we will be participating in this walk on Monday, September 5, 2011 with "Team St. Stephen's Episcopal Church". Our personal goal is to earn $100 toward our team goal of $1,000.00. There doesn't seem a day go by that any of us can go out into the community and not see many people in need of daily living needs. All of us have been touched by friends and family who have lost their jobs, lost their homes and as a result lost some of their hope for the future. If we can help just a few people in need, that will be a good start. If you can join us by walking with us or by contributing monetarily, that would be greatly appreciated.
CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by religious groups, businesses, schools and others to raise funds to end hunger at home and around the world.
