Especially in difficult and uncertain economic times, the needs of the hungry here in the U.S. cannot be ignored.  Through CROP Hunger Walks, CWS raises awareness and funds to help fight hunger in the U.S. 

A quarter of the funds raised in CROP events is provided by Church World Service to food pantries and other community-based hunger initiatives, invaluable resources for groups that are often small in size but have huge impact on the people they serve.  CWS also provides CWS Blankets and Kits to local organizations meeting the needs of the most vulnerable.
