Church World Service works to empower people living within the Middle East and the United States to Speak Out for peace and justice in the region.  CWS believes that resolving conflict and building peace is an ongoing process of healing brokenness and transforming injustice, and we are focusing on building and fostering long-term relationships with partners in the Middle East and supporting them as they struggle for peace. 

CWS work in particular with two organizations focused on ensuring peace in the Middle East: Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel and Churches for Middle East Peace. 

Church World Service endeavors to allow the voices of its partners to be heard, and our partners frequently send us prayers and statements of encouragement or updates on conditions affecting their people.  CWS works to lift up our partners voices and concerns, and often Speaks Out on behalf of our brothers and sisters in the Middle East as we are called.
