Knowledge brings with it the need for action.  CWS works to teach and educate citizens here in the U.S. about issues that deeply impact our brothers and sisters half a world away. 

Whether it is Speaking Out for human rights in Myanmar (Burma), raising awareness about the plight of families affected by hunger and poverty in Pakistan, or helping provide congregations in the U.S. with the tools to Speak Out and be heard in the halls of Congress, CWS believes that with enough hard work and perseverance, peace and justice will eventually prevail.  CWS also supports the work of partners in various parts of Asia to raise awareness among people within their communities to become active, involved citizens and speak out for themselves.
