Longtime CWS clerk leaves a legacy of hope

For 16 years Hildegarde Boyle served as an accounting clerk in Church World Service's Elkhart, Indiana, Service Center. To demonstrate her love for CWS and to help its work continue after she was gone, Hilde established a trust for the organization.

For 16 years Hildegard Boyle served as an accounting clerk with Church World Service in Elkhart, Indiana.  Born in Germany, Hilde, as she was fondly known around the office, was famous among staff for her fastidiousness, no-nonsense attitude and attention to detail.  When she wasn’t working, Hilde loved to bowl and spend time with her cats,

When Hilde died at the age of 79, a trust she had established yielded more than $17,000 to bring help and hope to people in need through the work of Church World Service.

To find out more about how you, too, can leave a legacy of hope through your support of Church World Service, please contact CWS Director of Gift & Estate Planning Ron Blaum, 800-297-1516, ext. 444, or email rblaum@churchworldservice.org.
